WORKSHOP BY PAMELA/JESHUA
Your soul’s journey: healing your shadow and receiving your light
This workshop is about understanding your journey through life and the challenges you face from the perspective of your soul.
Jeshua:
You are a mixture of light and darkness. The darkness inside you is not something bad, it is the part of you which you cannot yet see, because you are afraid of it. The soul, however, wants to explore this darkness, because its intention is to grow, expand and deepen its awareness. Your soul is not afraid of the dark, it knows that the real treasures are there. But the fear based ego tries to escape the shadow and deny the pain, anger, and loneliness inside you. It feels victimized by the challenges life brings, whereas the soul attracts these challenges in order to fully face the shadow. Only by shining your light on the darkness, by consciously turning towards your wounds, can you heal your shadow.
In the first part of this workshop, you will explore the shadow part, examining the core beliefs that keep it alive, and going to the root cause of the pain.
By means of channeling and Q&A, you will be invited to lovingly embrace the most wounded part of you, thereby releasing the shadow.
In the second part of the workshop, you will focus more on your light, on the flow of wisdom and compassion that longs to be expressed through you. You will be encouraged to recognize and receive your light, to channel your unique soul’s energy and express it in your everyday life.
DAY 1 Healing your shadow
DAY 2 Receiving your light
During the workshop, Pamela offers channeled messages and meditations from Jeshua, and during the Q&A round, you will be able to ask questions to which you will receive channeled answers.
The group will be limited to 16 persons max. There will be room for every participant to ask a personal question to Pamela/Jeshua.
RETREAT PROGRAM
The whole retreat will consist of 6 days: one arrival day, three days of visiting ancient monuments and two workshop days.
Program January 19 – 25
Day 1 Arrival and check in
Day 2
– Visiting the majestic temple of Karnak with its famous Great Hypostyle Hall, sacred Lake and less well known but intriguing Sekhmet chapel, which, hidden in the dark, holds the remarkable statue of a goddess with the head of a lioness; I have never seen a statue radiating such strong energy as this one.
– Visiting the temple of Luxor, which has a more feminine and gentle feeling to it, and used to be devoted to the healing arts.
Day 3 Workshop I (10AM – 1PM)
Day 4
– Visiting the Valley of the Kings, where we descend into the richly decorated tombs of the great pharaohs. The symbolic, colorful scenes on the walls are not only pleasing to the eye but are filled with ancient esoteric knowledge about life, death and the transition into the afterlife.
– Visiting the Valley of the Nobles, one of the best least-visited attractions in Luxor, which holds tombs with beautiful, less formal, and funny scenes of everyday life in ancient Egypt
Day 5 Workshop II (10AM – 1PM)
Day 6 Cruise on the river Nile including lunch buffet and visit of Dendera temple
Dendera is a beautiful, late Greco-Roman, very well preserved temple complex, mainly devoted to Hathor, the goddess of joy, dance, and musical arts. Dendera is located 55km north of Luxor and therefore attracts less visitors, so it is usually quiet and peaceful there.
If all things go well, we will travel there by cruise ship, enjoying wonderful views and lunch on board.
At this moment, I have not yet received 100% confirmation from Iberotel that the cruise ship service will be up and running in January; in case it isn’t, we will travel to Dendera by taxi bus (1 hour drive), return in the early afternoon, and take a boat trip on the Nile in the late afternoon watching the sunset.
Day 7 Breakfast and departure
There are two free afternoons on Day 3 and 5 (we will offer suggestions about nice places to visit).
Accommodation: Iberotel Luxor, for an overview click here.
This 4 star hotel is situated directly on the Nile, with a gorgeous (heated) swimming pool on the river bank. It has a lovely terrace, well-kept garden and three restaurants.
It is located within walking distance of the city center (400 meter), where you’ll find shops, cafés, ATM machines, Luxor temple, the Souq (market) and you can stroll on the promenade alongside the Nile.
You will stay for 6 nights in your own room (single occupancy with twin or double bed), with wonderful view of the Nile and Theban hills and away from the noisy street side. The room has a balcony, aircon/heating, Wifi, bathroom, fridge and tea/coffee facilities.
Breakfast buffet is included.
Weather
Temperatures will be very pleasant during the day in January: around 20-25 degrees Celcius, with sunny and clear skies. In the evening it can get chilly, so definitely bring a sweater and light jacket.
PRICE of the retreat is 1850 euro (down payment of 600 euro required)
For couples or friends who would like to share a room, the price is 1640 euro. This option is only available if you sign up together.
Including:
- Two workshops (plus recordings of the channelings and Q&A)

- Lunch on day 6 (on the cruise ship)
- Tips (for hotel staff, drivers, guide, etc.)
Excluding:
- Flight ticket
- Visa (30 euro/25 dollar); for most countries, it’s possible to buy your visa upon arrival at the airport
- Lunches, dinners and drinks (except lunch on day 6)
You can take lunch and dinner in the hotel, but we will also offer suggestions for nice and affordable restaurants in the city.
Both in the hotel and outside, restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan meals upon request
International flights to Luxor
There are some direct flights to Luxor from Europe (for example every Thursday from Brussels and Dusseldorf with TUI). The other, more frequently available option is to fly to Cairo first and from Cairo Airport, Egyptair flies to Luxor multiple times a day in about 1 hour.
A third option is to fly to Hurghada (a popular destination on the Red Sea) and from there take a bus (Go Bus) or private taxi to Luxor (4 hour ride). Iberotel Luxor offers a pick up service from Hurghada airport for 128 euro per one way.
Organisation
I organise this trip together with my friend and assistant Marjo Langewen.
